What a GRRRRREAT story!! I enjoyed this one quite a bit. I loved the creativity and play on Little Red Riding Hood, but oh boy! That is NOT the story I was told as a little girl! And to think I always thought it was the wolf that ate Red. *naughty grin* How the story plays out, how Meredith meets & gets to know each Werebear is so PAWFECT! I don't want to go into any details of it because the best part of reading a book is that first time where you find everything out on your own. It is a nice lighter read, but one that draws you right into the story so much so that I was at the end before I knew it!! While the sensual level is slightly less than Goldilocks's story, it is still on the hot side. I do have to admit that even though Meredith, or Red as Scott quickly nicknames her, is lucky enough to have three men, the action is very clean, no triple guy play happening, and only mildly with a double bears. And like everything else, that will appeal to some, where others might like it more raunchy. I personally thought that this suited the fairy tale – these sweet as honey fairy tales! – setting PAWFECTLY! What other kind could you have with three bear shifters!?! I was drooling so much in this story! If it wasn’t over a Bear, then it was for Grandma’s baking! I have a sweet tooth so I was a tad jealous of all of the yummy goodies she baked. The only part that sort of turned me off was the emphasis on Red's size/weight. Yes she is quite a curvy girl, yes she has extra padding, but I felt like so much of the focus, TOO much of the focus, was on that. To me, it takes away from the story when you are constantly reminded that she has a big round bottom, thunder thighs, etc. I love that Red is a big beautiful woman, but I felt that Red’s whole identity was her size. Now this could be just me being sensitive to the subject, so I didn’t factor it into my rating. Regardless, I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THIS STORY!! Sable certainly has a fantastical knack for writing these most enjoyable stories in The Bear-y Spicy Fairy Tales series and I cannot wait for the next Furry Tail to be released!!!Product details

What a fun mish mash of Red Riding hood and perhaps goldilocks and the three bears? It's not an intense novel, but a really fun and enjoyable read. Time was spent creating a clear set of characters and bonding between each, even in a novella, so kudos for that! At times sassy, sexy, and sweet, running a full range.

On July 4th, 20 years ago, Meredith Baxter got lost in the woods. She was found by a bear shifter couple and returned safely to the celebration. That night she met 3 young shifter boys and they all asked her to marry them. Time goes by and and that night is forgotten.
Meredith goes to visit her Grandmother in Port Jameson, OR. She becomes very angry when she is told that her grandmother's rent/lease is being raised, to almost twice the amount. How is her grandmother suppose to pay that? So, Meredith goes to have a talk with the landlord. Brandon Joyce is a bit more then she expected. Upon finding out that he didn't change the lease, but they have a new in their posession, he strikes a deal. Meredith is to be the housekeeper for the next few weeks, for him and his 2 friends. When spring arrives and their hibernation is over, then the lease will go back to the original amount and never be changed.
Brandon has alterior motives when making the deal with Meredith, he does want the house cleaned, but more then that.....he wants Meredith in their home. Hopefully for good.
Over the next few weeks Meredith, now called "Red", meets the other two men/bear shifters. Each is so different , but she is attracted to all of them. All them also have the same mate mark, which is strange. After one night spent with all three it is discovered that Red could be the fated mate to each of them. How can she choose just one? She has fallen for each one of them and she can't choose one and leave the others behind or hurt them. So,she leaves. It is all she can do.

I so love adult fairy tales and this one was so freaking steamy. I absolutely loved the play on Little Red Riding Hood with a bit of a cross over on The Three bears, not much mind you just a smidge. Meredith is feisty yet playful and I loved watching her react with her three bears whether as a child or an adult. But I guarantee it was a lot more fun seeing them as adults. The story begins with Meredith getting lost in the woods as a child and rescued by a family of bear shifters. Little does she know the impact agreeing to marry her three playmates will have on her future.
Years later Meredith is visiting her aging grandmother in the woods of Oregon where she finds that her grandmother’s landlord has raised her rent astronomically. Just a tad affronted and pissed off she heads off to confront the bear in his cave err I mean home. Awakened from hibernation by the pounding on his door, Brandon has no clue what she’s talking about but he sees an opportunity he’s not willing to let pass by. Brandon tells her he’ll redo the lease agreement to a fixed contract at the old rate if she’ll keep house for him and his partners. At the urging of her grandmother she reluctantly agrees. Over the course of the next few weeks she meets Scott and Nathan. All three of them are scorching hot and appeal to her in their own way. Her nights are filled with hot erotic dreams and her days with keeping house for three sleeping bears. But even her dreams don’t hold a candle to what three sexy bears can dish out when they wake up. This was one seriously fun, quick and steamy read and I’d highly recommend it.
